GT Adult Bible Study

Fellowship Hall. As we study the Word, we will learn the nature of God, His character and attributes, and His unfailing love for mankind. In this Bible Study, we will learn He is trustworthy and that we can trust Him. The writer of Hebrews wrote that the Word of God is quick, powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. Join us as we engage God’s Word together.

Thank you for joining me on this journey through Verbs of Faith. My prayer is that as you’ve read each chapter, the Holy Spirit has stirred something fresh in your heart—something active, something obedient, something real. Hebrews 11 is more than a list of people—it’s a list of verbs. Each one reveals a way faith takes action. As you reflect on what you’ve read, I invite you to consider each of these verbs and ask the Lord: Which of these are You calling me to walk out right now? For your reflection and prayer, here is a list of the verbs we explored together: •Understand •Offer •Please •Prepare •Obey •Receive •Embrace •Offer (again) •Bless •Choose •Forsake •Keep •Pass through •Welcome •Overcome •Endure •Continue Some of these verbs may speak directly to your life in this very season. Others may feel distant—but don’t overlook them. Sometimes God plants seeds today that will grow into action tomorrow. And maybe—just maybe—next year, there will be a new verb waiting for you. A new step of faith. A new act of obedience. A new calling from the Lord.
